Eric Sonner started as an HVAC journeyman in the Local 250 union and spent 16 years at ACCO Engineered Systems building mechanical infrastructure across the western United States. He learned what works and what fails when systems run under real load.
In 2022, the explosive growth of AI compute created demand for cooling systems that traditional HVAC firms could not deliver. Eric saw the gap and founded Data Airflow to fill it. The team he built brought the same field-tested engineering discipline to a new generation of hyperscale facilities.
